Day 759

We are so fortunate to live where we live and have the freedoms we have– that’s what I keep learning 🙂

It’s 3 : 29 PM on day 759 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to brush my teeth, feed myself All Bran Flakes and apple  for breakfast, publish my Disability of the Day feature, practice typing with both hands,  work, stretch my hamstrings  and watch TV.

Today I read Her ‘Crime’ Was Loving Schools by NICHOLAS D. KRISTOF – a story about a 14-year-old Pakistani girls’ education advocate, Malala Yousafzai,  who was shot by the Taliban because she refused to stop her advocacy even after they threw two warning letters into her house– I was (and am) in AWE of this girl’s courage she realized what the leaders of the world have yet to realize the war against terror is won in classrooms and not on battlefields. Do you appreciate the freedoms that come with living where you do?

I LOVE hearing from you feel free to leave a comment below.
