An idea that is developed and put into action is more important than an idea that exists only as an idea. – Buddha
It’s 7: 29 PM on day 348 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to brush my teeth, feed myself an egg sandwich for breakfast, prepare my Kid of the Week feature for tomorrow – it took me two hours to compile it because I was crying while I was doing it – you will see why when you read it tomorrow – Rachel where ever you are please know that I NEVER EVER forget you rest in peace – feed myself rice and curry for lunch, watch TV, tweet about my Clean Water For All Campaign – Al Navas (@pitbull1970) made his second donations–thanks Al :)– and feed myself a peanut butter sandwich for dinner.
This morning I was sitting at our dining table in complete silence when I finally decided that I would turn my diary – the entries since the beginning of my campaign – into a book I was on the fence about whether or not to do it ever since the idea first popped into my head a few months ago because I thought who would want to read it most days are so mundane but now I realize it’s so important to show people the daily grid of starting and managing a project like mine so that if someone does decide to start a project of their own they know not to give-up the first time they hear a no. Do you have the courage to put your ideas into action?
Are we connecting on Twitter? If not, say hi at http://twitter.com/Nisha360
If you’ve given to my cause or you can’t give now, please help me by sharing my cause with others. You can tweet about it like my friend Stan Faryna. This is the tweet he uses: @Nisha360 is a brave, smart young woman trying to make a better world for us all. Please help her do an amazing thing. http://bit.ly/hC7vOu
Stan’s very sweet for saying so, but feel free to write what reflects you best.
Thanks to all my friends out there who are helping me make my dream come true: to make a better world for all of us!
