Day 980: The death of Vuyo Mbuli a reminder that we should all live out stories we would be proud to look back on

All of us should live out stories we would be proud to look back on – that’s what I keep learning 🙂

It’s  3 : 11 PM on day 980 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to brush my teeth, pray, watch TV, practice sitting up straight to strengthen my core muscles, feed myself All Bran Flakes and an egg sandwich for breakfast, read Numbers 33, publish my Disability of the Day feature and  practice typing with both hands

Yesterday I heard that Vuyo Mbuli, a co-host on South Africa’s longest running breakfast show Morning Live, died on Saturday night while at a rugby match with his son needless to say I was shocked you don’t expect a healthy-looking 46-year-old man to die suddenly Vuyo’s death has reminded me that all of us should live out stories we would be proud to look back on  everybody from the South African President to the ordinary man on the street have sent their condolences to Vuyo’s family and friends. Are you living out a story you would be proud to look back on?

RIP Vuyo sharp sharp as you would say.
