Life is 98% perception and 2% reality– that’s what I keep learning 🙂
It’s 3 : 07 PM on day 681 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to brush my teeth, publish my Disability of the Day feature, work, feed myself an avocado sandwich for breakfast, drink Green Tea by myself and watch TV.
Last night I was watching My Top Billing Dream – a reality show that’s looking for a new presenter for South Africa’s most popular entertainment and lifestyle show, Top Billing – during elimination one of the contestants in the bottom two said something about being thrown by the setting she was put in – each contestant had to interview a local soap star in a different setting – to which Patience Stevens – one of the judges on My Top Billing Dream and Co-Producer of Top Billing – said it’s like life things don’t always go as you plan it’s up to you to make the best of it I found that to be so true in my own life I could say I can’t walk my life is over instead I choose to say I can’t walk big deal I can see, hear, talk, taste, touch and feel you can really change your life just by changing the way you look at it. Is your life a disaster because you choose to see everything in a negative light?
I LOVE hearing from you feel free to leave a comment below.
