Day 2215: World Smile Day

It’s 12 : 16  PM on day 2215 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, have breakfast,   read Hosea 6:6, learn one new thing – Pejorative [pe·jo·ra·tive] adj. Expressing contempt or disapproval. Disparaging; belittling. “He used pejorative overtones in his speech.”- and work on my  25 Smiles Campaign    – yesterday  MJ Merk donated $50 (thanks SO MUCH MJ) which brings the total  raised to $7 975 only  $4 525 more to raise to reach my second goal of raising $12 500 for Smile Train before Jan 10 2017 (SO SO SO GRATEFUL to everyone who has supported this campaign so far ).

 

Today is World Smile Day and in honour of that I humbly ask that you please consider helping me help Smile Train sponsor cleft surgeries http://bit.ly/Give25Smiles (Dad said he would sponsor cleft surgery  number 50  if I managed to get 49 surgeries sponsored-got 31 so far).

It’s 10 : 00 AM on day 2188 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, have breakfast, read Colossians 3:23 and work on my 25 Smiles Campaign – raised $7 625 only $4 875 more to raise to reach my second goal of raising $12 500 for Smile Train before Jan 10 2017 (SO SO SO GRATEFUL to everyone who has supported this campaign so far 🙂 ) .

 

Today marks the eight month anniversary of my 25 Smiles Campaign benefiting  Smile Train so far eighty-two people (including me and my family) have made donations to this campaign and between us we’ve donated $7 625 I am so grateful. Day 2126: 25 Smiles Campaign Six Months Later

A group of people working together towards a common goal can accomplish extraordinary things – that’s what I keep realizing.

 

It’s 12 : 00 PM on day 2126 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, have breakfast, read Amos 5: 24 , learn one new thing –The average gestation period for giraffe is approximately 15 months (453-464 days). Giraffe give birth in a ‘calving ground’ and mothers will often return to where they were born to have their own babies.- and work on my 25 Smiles Campaign – raised $6 920 only $5 580 more to raise to reach my second goal of raising $12 500 for Smile Train before Jan 10 2017 (SO SO SO GRATEFUL to everyone who has supported this campaign so far 🙂 ) .

Day 2112: 25 Smiles Campaign Goal Surpassed Let’s Go For 50 Smiles

It’s 12 : 10  PM on day 2112 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, read Joshua 24: 15 , have breakfast, learn one new thing – If you were standing on the Moon, you would always see the Earth in exactly the same position, while the stars and the Sun moved around in the sky. The Moon takes 27.3 days to complete an orbit around the Earth. And this the same amount of time that it takes to turn once on its axis. -and work on my  25 Smiles Campaign    – Anonymous  donated $20, Seemachechi donated $50 and Anush Alex donated $250 (thanks SO MUCH Anon, Seemachechi and Anush 🙂 ) which brings my total raised to $6 480 (thanks SO SO MUCH everyone for your support goal surpassed but campaign continues until the original end date, Jan 10 2017 [see next paragraph for details])

 

Last night I surpassed my 25 Smiles Campaign goal (SO SO SO GRATEFUL to everyone who has supported this campaign so far 🙂 ) since there’s so much time left before the end of the campaign on January 10, 2017 I have decided to double my fundraising target to try and raise enough money to sponsor 25 more smiles so by January 10, 2017 I’m hoping to raise $12 500 which will help Smile Train sponsor 50 cleft surgeries. The flag of Switzerland consists of a red flag with a white cross (a bold, equilateral cross) in the centre. It is often said that Australia lies at the edge of the world, divided from other continents by long distances. Day 2034: Thanks so much to Susannah Schaefer and Smile Train

It’s the smallest things that take up the most space in one’s heart – that’s what I keep realizing.

 

It’s 12  : 25 PM on day 2034 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, read Revelation 11,  learn one new thing –Pholcids, or daddy long-legs spiders, are venomous predators, and although they never naturally bite people, their fangs are similar in structure to those of brown recluse spiders, and therefore can theoretically penetrate skin.- have breakfast,  and work on my 25 Smiles Campaign –  yesterday Shari Mason donated $25 and today Anonymous donated $60  (thanks SO MUCH Shari and Anonymous  🙂 ) which brings the total raised to $5 356  only $894  more to raise by 10 Jan 2017  (SO SO SO GRATEFUL to everyone who has supported this campaign so far :)  ).

 

Yesterday I got a letter from Smile Train with a picture of a child they recently helped attached to it I wasn’t expecting it but it totally made my day and meant the world to me (I mean who even sends letters anymore? Talk about amazing). Thanks so much again to Susannah Schaefer and Smile Train.

It’s 12 : 29 PM on day 2004 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, read James 2,  learn one new thing –  Generally, the horse has 205 bones (54 vertebral column, 36 ribs, 1 sternum, 34 skull, 40 front legs, 40 hindlegs).
