Day 2025: Everybody’s Highest Calling

Everybody’s highest calling is to serve – that’s what I keep realizing.

It’s 12 : 30 PM on day 2025 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, read Revelation 2,  have breakfast, learn one new thing – The tongue is a muscular organ in the mouth. The tongue is covered with moist, pink tissue called mucosa. Tiny bumps called papillae give the tongue its rough texture. Thousands of taste buds cover the surfaces of the papillae.  – have breakfast and work on my 25 Smiles Campaign – yesterday I donated $34 of my birthday money (in memory of my deceased grandparents, Joesph uncle, sisi Virginia and Graham Constantinides) which brings the total raised to raised $3 856 only $2 394  more to raise by 10 Jan 2017  (SO SO SO GRATEFUL to everyone who has supported this campaign so far :)  ).

Today I was thinking about life and it dawned on me that the happiest people in life serve every day whether it be through their work or in their spare time which is great because I think everybody’s highest calling is to serve how they serve depends entirely on their individual skills and talents but the fact remains everybody’s highest calling is to serve.

Day 1587: Live, Love, Serve and Be Proud of the Person You Become

I’m not perfect but I’m trying my best to live, love and serve  – that’s what I realized today.

It’s 12 : 22 PM on day 1587 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to  brush my teeth,  pray,  read Jeremiah 4 ,publish my Disability of the Day feature, publish my Kid of the Week feature, feed myself a peanut butter and banana sandwich for breakfast, answer blog interview questions for Peter Yobo’s new blog, The Powered Life – my friend, Peter Yobo, generously offered to feature me on his new blog, The Powered Life, which will launch in February 2015 (thanks Peter for featuring me)  –     learn one new thing – The popsicle was invented by an 11-year-old in 1905 –   and promote my Educate Generations campaign–  someone who prefers not to be named on social media or on this blog donated $20 today which brings the total raised to $1 370 (I’m so grateful 🙂 ).

Today after answering Peter’s blog interview questions I realized I’m not perfect but I’m trying my best to live, love and serve which made me, in a non-arrogant way, proud of the person I had become.  Are you trying your best to live, love and serve?
