There really is a silver lining in every cloud– that’s what I keep learning 🙂

It’s 7 : 23 PM on day 634 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to brush my teeth,  feed myself  All Bran Flakes  for breakfast, publish my Disability of the Day feature, exercise my right hand –  I practiced picking up and putting down a knife with my right hand one more time just make sure I could do it… I could I’ll be it not perfectly but still 🙂  – feed myself butternut and chicken curry for lunch, go to physiotherapy, watch TV, feed myself  an avocado sandwich for dinner and brush my teeth once more.

This afternoon sitting in my physiotherapist’s office waiting for my dad to come pick us – my mom and I –up it occurred to me that had I not had Cerebral Palsy I would have never met my physiotherapist or the wonderful people at her office which made almost glad that I had Cerebral Palsy because my physiotherapist and her staff have had an everlasting impact on my life.  Do you see the silver lining in your cloud?
