A beautiful life is made up of a lot of small, meaningful moments strung together – that’s what I’ve come to believe.
It’s 11 : 47 AM on day 2368 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, have breakfast, read Ephesians 3:16-21 and learn a new word – Definitions for newspeak
(sometimes initial capital letter) an official or semiofficial style of writing or saying one thing in the guise of its opposite, especially in order to serve a political or ideological cause while pretending to be objective, as in referring to “increased taxation” as “revenue enhancement.”
Recently I was taking a look at my Moments Journal – a journal in which I am recording all the awesome moments of 2017 (thank you to Nisha Kotecha for giving me the idea) – and I noticed that most of the moments that I considered awesome were either moments of kindness (done by me or done in honour of me) or they were moments during which I chose to be fully present and appreciate the simple things which leads me to believe a beautiful life is made up of a lot of small, meaningful moments strung together.
