Day 1070: Make do

Make do with what you have – that’s what I keep learning.

It’s 6 : 26 PM on day 1070 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to pray, brush my teeth, feed myself  boiled egg and bran flakes  for breakfast,  go to church, go visit my granny in hospital – my granny is such a strong woman two strokes (one two years ago and one recently) and she’s still trying to speak and pull out her  tubes  I have much respect for her – feed myself brown rice, vegetables and fish curry for lunch, continue reading The Five People You Meet in Heaven by Mitch Albom – it’s about this guy Eddie who dies and the five people he meets in heaven who explain to him why things happened in his life the way it did I really like it –      publish my Disability of the Day feature,  publish my Kid of the Week feature and tweet and Facebook about my campaign –  no one donated today but Anonymous  donated $50 yesterday (thanks again Anonymous) now I only need to raise $160  in the next 58 days to reach goal :)

Last night I was sick and tired of asking for help and it looked as though people were sick and tired of helping me I love being me but it can be frustrating sometimes I can see myself in my mind’s eye trying to shake myself free of the prison that is my body I guess I’m still learning to make do with what I have. Are you making do with what you have?
