Just breathe and stay present – that’s what I keep learning 🙂
It’s 4 : 55 PM on day 778 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to stretch my hamstrings, publish my Disability of the Day feature, brush my teeth, feed myself a peanut butter sandwich for breakfast, watch TV and practice sitting up straight to strengthen my core muscles.
I periodically have this image of myself 20 years from now being sent away somewhere or worse yet living with my siblings because I can’t take care of myself when that happens I swear I feel like I can’t breathe I guess I should just breathe and stay present. Do you breathe and stay present or freak out over what might happen in the future?
