Day 1242: Wondering about a different life? Guilty as charged

Wondering what it would be like to live a “normal” life doesn’t mean you don’t love the life you have – that’s what I realized last night.

It’s 12  : 17 PM on day 1242 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to  pray,  brush my teeth, read Ezra 9, publish my Disability of the Day feature, feed myself egg with bread for breakfast,  promote my Eradicate AIDS campaign – nobody donated so far today   – practice sitting up straight to strengthen my core muscles and stretch my hamstrings.

Last night I couldn’t help wondering what it would be like to do ordinary things like go to the bathroom without help or run on the grass and I felt so guilty because I had such a great life but I realized wondering what it would be like to live a “normal” life doesn’t mean you don’t love the life you have. Do you feel guilty for wondering what it would be like to live a different life?
