Don’t complain about having a bad day focus on all the good days that you’ve had and remember that nothing lasts forever – that’s what I keep learning 🙂
It’s 5 : 59 PM on day 788 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to brush my teeth, publish my Disability of the Day feature, feed myself scrambled egg for breakfast stretch my hamstrings, practice sitting up straight to strengthen my core muscles, watch TV, practice typing with both hands, watch X Factor UK auditions on YouTube -it’s one of those weird things I do I love watching people’s dreams come true watching them gives me hope that one day my dreams of inspiring people and travelling the world will come true too 🙂 – go to physiotherapy – it went great my legs were stretched – and watch some more TV.
This morning I went to go exercise and was bummed to discover that my legs were as stiff as a board (the flexibility of my legs depends on my hormones, how much I exercised days before and the weather – when it’s cold the blood vessels in my legs tend to constrict – ) but then I remembered all the days my legs weren’t stiff and was grateful. When you’re having a bad day do you focus on all the good days that you’ve had and remember that nothing lasts forever?
I LOVE hearing from you feel free to leave a comment below.
