The most amazing people are not necessarily rich or famous but all of them are the best of themselves in the worst of situations – that’s what I keep learning 🙂

It’s 6 : 34 PM on day 683 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to brush my teeth,  publish my Disability of the Day feature, work,    feed myself Oats for breakfast, drink  Green Tea by myself, watch TV, feed myself rice and curry for lunch and watch some more TV.

As you may or may not know I’m a hopeless romantic name a chick flick I’ve probably watched it but there’s always been a part of me that after the movie thought people don’t say and do things like this in real life until I heard Chris Medina’s story – Chris and Juliana had been together for 8 years (dating for 6 years and engaged for 2) when just 2 months before they were to be married Juliana got into a car accident and suffered a traumatic brain injury but unlike most guys Chris chose to keep the vows he would have made to be there for her in sickness and in health.
