It’s 3 : 48 PM on day 904 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to stretch my hamstrings, practice sitting up straight to strengthen my core muscles, brush my teeth, pray, feed myself a salad roll for breakfast, read Exodus 24, publish my Disability of the Day feature and practice typing with both hands.
Yesterday I watched My Autism and Me – a documentary in which 13-year-old Rosie invites us into her world and shows us how she and other people with Autism relate to neuro-typical people– what I love about this documentary is Rosie she’s whimsical and fun and she shows the world that different is cool just by being herself.
