Day 573

In a world full of people who couldn’t care less, be someone who couldn’t care more. ~ Appreciate Gratitude

It’s 6: 29 PM on day 573 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to feed myself Appam and chicken curry  for breakfast, drink tea by myself,  publish my Disability of the Day feature, publish my Kid of the Week feature, continue reading Mockingjay  – the third book in The Hunger Games Trilogy by Suzanne Collins –  feed myself barbequed meat for lunch, drink Coke by myself and just hang out (translation: do nothing).

A couple of days ago people came to visit us and left without asking about my grandma or going to her room to see her (they knew she was here in case you’re wondering)  which really bothered me considering she had no shortage of visitors before she had a hemorrhage now it’s like she doesn’t even exist my eleven-year-old brother spends more time with my grandma than most adults do these days (I am SO PROUD of him) I don’t know what’s wrong with people she may not be the same person she used to be but she’s still a person who needs to feel seen I wish my generation and the one before could get that because one day (hopefully) we too will be old and you know what they say karma is a b****. Are you someone who couldn’t care more?
