We need to talk less and do more – that’s my message to the world.
It’s 12 : 00 PM on day 1551 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to brush my teeth, pray, read Isaiah 36, publish my Disability of the Day feature, feed myself egg with bread for breakfast and promote my Educate Generations campaign–my friend, Vincent Ang owner of OArtTee, a company that creates printed original art fashion t-shirts, donated $100 yesterday (thank you God and thank you SO MUCH Vincent your support means the absolute world to me) if any of you out there are looking for one-of-a-kind gifts to give to family and friends check out the t-shirts at OArtTee on the t-shirts are basically printed original artworks it’s really cool 🙂 – make sandwiches for sisi’s neighborhood with sisi’s help -(thank you sisi Nikiwe for all your help) – and continue promoting my campaign – still on $1 190 but I am grateful for the world’s support I am grateful to have raised $1 190 for the Malala Fund so far 🙂
Today I was thinking about the state of the world we talk about hunger, poverty, HIV/AIDS and other issues facing the world and yet things are changing at a snail’s pace which leads me to the conclusion that we need to talk less and do more because at the end of the day things don’t change when we talk things change when we do.
