On this International Day Of People With Disability I want to be considered in the way our world is designed -Accessibility is a necessity. Societal perception of physical differences and people with physical differences disables me more than my body does

It’s 12 : 13 PM on day 1728 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to brush my teeth, pray, read Obadiah 1, publish my Disability of the Day feature, publish myKid of the Week feature, feed myself bran flakes with banana for breakfast, learn one new thing –Supercilious [su·per·cil·i·ous] adj. 1. Full of contempt and arrogance. 2. Behaving as if or showing that a person thinks they are better than other people, and that their opinions, beliefs or ideas are not important, condescending. “He spoke in a haughty, supercilious voice.”– and promote my Educate Generations campaign– Madalyn Sklar, creator and host of the #TwitterSmarter podcast, donated $20 yesterday (thank you so much Madalyn you’re awesome I will be listening to your podcast can’t wait for the great shows you have coming up 🙂 ) which brings the total raised to $3 045 so grateful to everyone that has helped out (thanks guys).
Yesterday I saw an ad for the Scalevo Wheelchair – a wheelchair that can climb stairs – needless to say I was over-the-moon excited I try not to let Cerebral Palsy rule my life but whenever we decide to go somewhere my first thought and question is will there be stairs there maybe the Scalevo Wheelchair will be the beginning of the end of my worries.
