Everybody is responsible for their own lives – that’s a fact of life I’m finding hard to deal with.
It’s 12 : 23 PM on day 1873 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to brush my teeth, pray, read Acts 18, publish my Disability of the Day feature, learn one new thing –Lugubrious [lu·gu·bri·ous] adj. Looking or sounding sad and dismal; mournful. “The lugubrious country song reminded her of an ex-boyfriend.”- have breakfast and work on my potential future project.
Today I was reminded that everybody is responsible for their own lives where they end up will be a direct consequence of their action or inaction (Note to self: Live your life and let other people live theirs if something happens to them as a consequence of their action or inaction it won’t be on your head I swear).
Why are you finding it hard to deal with other people doing their own thing?
Because sometimes they make choices that are bad for them.
Hi, in case you are wondering who ruthbbern is – it is Beverly – my second name is Ruth. Nisha, I used to want to fix everything, and make problems better and finally, finally, finally, it has sunk in. No wise words, or reasons, convincing arguments have any effects. I am taking my hands off everyone else and putting them on myself. i am going to change myself. Take care Bev xxx
It’s sinking in for me too 🙂
