“The son does not have to follow the ways of his father.” – Zak Ebrahim, “Zak Ebrahim: I am the son of a terrorist. Here’s how I chose peace”
It’s 12 : 00 PM on day 1598 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to brush my teeth, pray, read Jeremiah 15, publish my Disability of the Day feature, learn one new thing – The longest word in the Oxford English Dictionary is pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis at 45 letters long (it’s a name of a lung disease caused by silica dust)– promote my Educate Generations campaign–on $1 650-read and comment on Dad LOVES His Girls, watch “Zak Ebrahim: I am the son of a terrorist. Here’s how I chose peace”, feed myself a peanut butter and a banana for breakfast and continue promoting my campaign – still on $1 650 and still grateful
This morning I watched “Zak Ebrahim: I am the son of a terrorist. Here’s how I chose peace” everybody can relate to Zak’s story in some way because all of us have had legacies passed on to us that we know would be better left behind but we carry it with us because we feel like we don’t have a choice but as Zak shows us we can choose to leave behind destructive legacies and create a new legacy.
