Day 2835: 18th – 25 June Goals

Set goals, achieve them and repeat – that’s my message to the world.

It’s 12 : 48 PM on day 2835 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, read a Bible verse, and chill – i’m not so feeling hot

Last Monday I set some goals and today I will again be evaluating myself to measure my progress and I’ll be setting some goals for the coming week as well. Take a look:

 11th – 18th   June Goals Evaluation

    1. Continue to be kind, honest and generous [I tried]
    2. Raise at least $500 for my campaign benefiting MiracleFeet – so far we’ve raised enough to help 58 kids with clubfoot I want to help get that number as close to 75 before the campaign ends on June 17th )
    3. Be the best Supersidekick to my Superhero Catherine Constantinides [I tried]
    4. Make sure my friend and I have a school to work with for a local project we want to do in july [everything’s sorted now we just have to execute the plan on August 4th ]
    5. Spend time outside every sunny day [did more often than I didn’t ]
    6. Read 200+ pages of When Dimple Met Rishi (currently on pg. 10) [not done]
    7. Learn 7+ new things [I did but not every day]
    8. Write done 7 beautiful moments – 1 for every day of the week [I did but not every day]
    9. Eat or drink something new [not done]
  • Call 2 family members and 2 friends just to say hi or thank you (come to think of it who am I going to call my grandma is no more she was always so happy to hear from me while with other people I’m always afraid my kind phone calls are nothing but a nuisance everybody’s so busy my worst fear is calling someone and them thinking why is she calling doesn’t she have anything better to do? – it actually happened once I called someone to say hi/thank you and while she was polite I could tell she wasn’t really excited to hear from me I felt horrible) [called 1 friend]

Highlights of the Week

  • My sister being okay
  • Seeing a final donation to my campaign of $500 and ending the campaign on a grand total of $15 219
  • Calling Superhero Catherine Constantinides (I called at 6 AM and God bless her she still picked up and was delighted to hear from me [it always always amazes me how genuinely happy she sounds to hear from me no matter what time I call or what I call to say she seems to have all the time in the world for me even though she works I know from morning to morning sometimes [I aspire to the love in her heart and kindness of her spirit it’s the most incredible thing I’ve been privileged experience outside of the love of my family]
