It’s 11: 53 AM on day 2759 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, have breakfast, read Matthew 21:9 and promote my 50 New Feet Campaign benefiting MiracleFeet –raised $13 334 only $5 415 more to raise by June 17, 2018 to reach my new goal of helping 75 kids with Clubfoot by June 17, 2018.
Today would’ve been Dr. Maya Angelou’s 90th birthday and in celebration of that I’m sharing one of my favourite Maya Angelou poems, “Still I Rise”. Take a listen:
It’s a wonderful poem. Therefore, it is a pity that it does not also speak of the destination in holiness and that the tears and journey belongs to the human person (all of us) regardless of color, gender, etc.
