It’s okay to change your mind sometimes – that’s what I realized today.
It’s 11: 45 AM on day 2319 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, have breakfast, Habakkuk 3:19 and work on some of my 2017 Goals .
This morning I realized that it’s okay to change my mind sometimes (once I make up my mind I seldom change it which is awesome in some ways and horrible in others).
Habakkuk 3:19 is a a powerful demonstration of faith. In the midst of total desolation, hopelessness, despair, evil and sin everywhere and in every heart, curse, poverty, great need, and hunger, the prophet exults in the Lord. Though God punishes men, women and children for their rebellion and self-love with painful and crushing horrors, the prophet rejoices in God.
Habakkuk 3:17-19 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
17 Though the fig tree should not blossom
And there be no fruit on the vines,
Though the yield of the olive should fail
And the fields produce no food,
Though the flock should be cut off from the fold
And there be no cattle in the stalls,
18 Yet I will exult in the Lord,
I will rejoice in the God of my salvation.
19 The Lord God is my strength,
And He has made my feet like hinds’ feet,
And makes me walk on my high places.
