We must have compassion for the fact that people can’t fully understand an experience they’ve never had – that’s my message to the world.
It’s 5: 10 PM on day 2314 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray and read Deuteronomy 31:6, go to the doctor to get a note to go paragliding in April (i got the note so yay) and go to the mall
This morning I was annoyed that people don’t understand what I go through then I realized they really don’t most people don’t know what it’s like to be so physically dependent on others as an adult because they’ve never had that experience it’s not their fault it just is the way it is and I’m beginning to have great compassion for that.
Is compassion the right word in this context? Or patience? 😛
Compassion might suggest that they need your help, encouragement and comfort in understanding your situation. On the other hand, maybe they/we do. 🙂
Maybe it’s a bit of both.
