Day 1534: Easier not always better

Easier is not always better – that’s what I keep learning.

It’s 12 : 43 PM on day 1534 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to brush my teeth, pray, read Isaiah 21,   publish my Disability of the Day feature,   promote my Educate Generations campaignSylvia Phillips donated $10 today and wrote a blog post titled Raising Awareness for “Educate Generations” (thank you so much for your support  Sylvia I really appreciate it) –    stretch my hamstrings, feed myself egg with bread and a and a banana for breakfast, hang out with my sister and continue promoting my campaign – still on $870 but I’m grateful things could be worse I could still be on $0 🙂

This morning as I sometimes do I was thinking about what my life would be like if I didn’t have Cerebral Palsy and I realized although my life would be easier it wouldn’t be better I believe the discrimination and rudeness I’ve experienced living with Cerebral Palsy has made me a kinder, more compassionate person.
