When you know the truth about you what other people say about you won’t affect you– that’s what I keep learning.
It’s 12 : 31 PM on day 1143 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to pray, brush my teeth, read 2 Kings 1, feed myself Bran Flakes and boiled egg for breakfast, publish my Disability of the Day feature, practice sitting up straight to strengthen my core muscles, read Should kids with special needs get special sports treatment?, stretch my hamstrings, change my t-shirt and spend time outside.
Recently somebody referred to me as sick and my brother looked at me and asked are you going to take that to which I said I know the truth about me I don’t care what people say when you know the truth about you what other people say about you won’t affect you people can call me sick, crippled or disabled it comes in one ear and goes out the other because I know that I am none of those things. Are you unaffected by what other people say about you because you know the truth about you?
