Day 907

For every person who doesn’t believe in you, you have to believe in yourself– that’s what I learned today 🙂

It’s 6 : 42 PM on day 907 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to brush my teeth, pray, read Exodus 27,  publish my Disability of the Day feature, practice typing with both hands,   feed myself a peanut butter sandwich for breakfast, practice sitting up straight to strengthen my core muscles,    stretch my hamstrings, take off my dirty t-shirt and put a clean t-shirt on, watch X Factor auditions on YouTube, watch TV, make sandwiches as part of Virginia’s Sandwich Run with our housekeeper’s help,  go to physiotherapy – my legs were a bit stiff today how stiff my legs are depends on what time of the month it is so I’m not too bummed – feed myself rice and curry for lunch, watch some more TV and brush my teeth once more.

Today I was making sandwiches as part of Virginia Sandwich Run and my mom said to our housekeeper when you’re done cleaning the table please help Nisha to which I said it’s fine I can do it all my life I’ve had to prove to my family, friends and even strangers that I was a capable human being I wish people would just take my word for it when I say I can do something it’s fine though because for every person who doesn’t believe in me I believe in myself. Do you believe in yourself for every person who doesn’t believe in you?

I LOVE hearing from you feel free to leave a comment below.
