See things for what they really are you will be a lot better off– that’s what I keep learning 🙂
It’s 5 : 38 PM on day 891 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to try to clean myself in the bathroom, brush my teeth, pray, read Exodus 11, publish my Disability of the Day feature, practice typing with both hands, practice sitting up straight to strengthen my core muscles, feed myself a peanut butter sandwich for breakfast, take off my dirty t-shirt and put a clean t-shirt on, stretch my hamstrings and work.
A week into Lent (I gave up meat and meat products) and I don’t have cravings like I did last year it’s probably because I now see things for what they really are an egg is an unfertilized egg, milk is just liquid that comes out of a cow’s udder, chicken is just chicken’s flesh when you think of it like that these things don’t seem as appetizing as they used to. Are you better off in every aspect of your life because you see things for what they really are?
I LOVE hearing from you feel free to leave a comment below.
