Day 889

Judge not something which you know nothing about– that’s what I keep learning 🙂

It’s 3 : 56 PM on day 889 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to stretch my hamstrings, take off my dirty t-shirt and put a clean t-shirt on,  brush my teeth,  feed myself bread and bake beans for breakfast, pray,   read Exodus 9, practice sitting up straight to strengthen my core muscles,  publish my Disability of the Day feature and practice typing with both hands.

This morning I was thinking about Oscar Pistorius’s shooting incident I don’t know if it was premeditated murder or not if he shot her because he thought she was a burglar as he reportedly claims then far be it for us to judge we’ve all made mistakes I am just sad that Reeva’s dead and that everything he’s accomplished has been overshadowed by this tragedy a lot of special needs kids probably looked up to him who do they have to look up to now. Are you too quick to pass judgement?

I LOVE hearing from you feel free to leave a comment below.

You are asking good questions about passing judgement. I was one of the people who said it was murder early on Thursday. However, I agree with you it doesn’t matter what we “the public” have to say. All that matters is what the courts decide, and how Oscar Pistorius himself cops with this. In my experience he is very likely suicide victim because of the massive guilt arising from his actions.
