To change the world we need to change the way we look at things – that’s what I keep learning 🙂
It’s 5 : 28 PM on day 888 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to take off my t-shirt and hoodie, brush my teeth, try to clean myself in the bathroom, feed myself peanut butter sandwich for breakfast, pray, read Exodus 8, publish my Disability of the Day feature, practice typing with both hands, practice sitting up straight to strengthen my core muscles, publish my Kid of the Week feature, feed myself rice and curry for lunch and stretch my hamstrings.
Last night a priest from India came to visit us introducing me to the priest my mom said this is my daughter she’s slightly sick I wasn’t hurt or angry because she didn’t introduce me like that to be mean that’s just the way she sees me as someone who’s sick, broken and needs to be fixed. Are you humble enough to admit that you need to change the way you look at things?
