Being kind is actually good for your health- that’s what I learned today 🙂
It’s  1 : 16 PM on day 787 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to brush my teeth, stretch my hamstrings,   practice sitting up straight to strengthen my core muscles, publish my Disability of the Day feature, practice typing with both hands, practice sitting some more,  feed myself a peanut butter sandwich for breakfast and watch TV.
Today while doing research for my Chain of Good movement I stumbled onto Kindness Scientist – a fascinating video about research being done that proves that being kind is good for your health apparently when you feel compassion the oxytocin networks in your brain switch on which helps you empathize and be generous. Watch the video below and participate in my Chain of Good movement:
I LOVE hearing from you feel free to leave a comment below.
Thank you for sharing this. I looked up the books written by Dacher Keltner on Amazon.com and the reviews were not all good. It seems he is continuing where Viktor Frankl left off with his book, Man’s Search for Meaning in 1959 without crediting him.
You’re welcome 🙂 I’m glad you liked it 🙂
