Day 774

In a world full of people who ask why be one of the few people who ask why not–  that’s what I keep learning 🙂

It’s 5 : 57 PM on day 774 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to brush my teeth, stretch my hamstrings, practice sitting up straight to strengthen my core muscles, feed myself an egg sandwich for breakfast,    publish my Disability of the Day feature, work, watch TV,make sandwiches on  behalf of Virginia’s Sandwich Run – my brother and I made ten sandwiches in total I’m SO PROUD of him by helping me help others today (at the age of 12) he earned the right to be called a hero I’m so happy I do most of the things I do hoping my brother will follow my example I feel like that happened today –   go to physiotherapy – my physiotherapy was impressed by how loose my legs were I didn’t exercise for her but still it was nice that she noticed 🙂 – and practice typing with both hands.

This morning I wanted to make sandwiches for housekeeper’s neighbourhood so I asked my parents to buy a loaf of bread and my mother said to me we’ll just buy a loaf of bread and give it to her why should we go through the hardship (of making sandwiches) to which I responded what if Nelson Mandela had said that we as people now need a reason to help people what happened to helping people because you can and because you want to. Do you ask why or why not?
