Day 2528: Overriding immature Feelings

At times when you don’t see the fruits of your labour override your immature feelings and keep working – that’s my message to the world.

It’s 12 : 51 PM on day 2528 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, read James 1:2-4, have breakfast and promote my 50 New Feet Campaign benefiting MiracleFeet – raised to $2 875 only $9 625 more to raise by June 17, 2018 to help 50 kids with clubfoot.

Today I realized that the decision we make to override our immature feelings and keep working when we don’t see results is perhaps the most important decision we will ever make while we are striving to achieving our goals,

Day 2527: Warning: Exploiters Will Not Be Tolerated

Recognize when you’re being manipulated and call people on their bluff – that’s my message to myself.

Today I felt like I was in a situation where somebody was trying to manipulate me but unlike before I didn’t beg or plead with her instead I called her bluff and that stopped her in her tracks (people know that I’m in need of their physical help and some of them use it to their advantage I will be kind to them nonetheless but gone are the days where my physical needs will be exploited – I deserve the best in life because I try my best to be good and do good I won’t accept anything but the best treatment from all people in my life).

Today I was reminded that to love truly is to love without conditions or expectations – people, like you, are flawed and prone to mistakes so the best way to love them is to love them as they are without conditions or expectations and if you can’t then choose to let them go because really life is too short to hold anyone a prisoner of your conditions or expectations.

Day 2522: Do Unto Others

It’s 11 : 31 AM on day 2522 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, read Lamentations 3:31-32, have breakfast and promote my 50 New Feet Campaign benefiting MiracleFeet – raised to $2 875 only $9 625 more to raise by June 17, 2018 to help 50 kids with clubfoot .

Yesterday I realized that if I wouldn’t want it done to me then I shouldn’t do it to anyone else no matter how good my reasons (sometimes I rush to do things with the best of intentions and I find that I’ve crossed boundaries that I shouldn’t have crossed).

Treasure your family– that’s my message to the world.

It’s 9 : 21 AM on day 2520 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, read Romans 10: 9-10, have breakfast and promote my 50 New Feet Campaign benefiting MiracleFeet – Deepuchachen and Reenachechi donated $250 (thanks so much chachen and chechi) which brings the total raised to $2 853 only $9 647 more to raise by June 17, 2018 to help 50 kids with clubfoot.

On this day 17 years go my mommy gave birth to a baby boy who we named Kevin and our lives have never been the same he’s such a joy and light in all our lives – no matter what I’m going through when he walk in the room, ruffles my hair and start irritating me (like only he can LOL) I know everything’s not so bad. Happy Birthday Kevin you are so so special to us all.

Day 2517: Learn to Judge Not

Today I realized that judgement comes from a place of superiority because to judge anyone we must feel like we are somehow better than them and so to live without judgement we must understand that we are just as flawed as the next person.

This morning sitting at our dining table I couldn’t help thinking what a miracle it was to be alive sometimes we get caught up in the day to day tasks of life that the miracle of being alive is lost on us (think about it: there were a lot of people who were alive yesterday who didn’t wake up today and yet you and me get another chance to get things right).

Day 2515: Subordinate Feelings to Permanent Core Values

Know your core values so that you can subordinate your temporary feelings to your permanent core values – that’s my message to the world.

Recently I was reminded that it’s important to know your core values so that you can subordinate your temporary feelings to your permanent core values (if someone is cruel to you and you know that one of your core values is kindness you won’t retaliate because you decided way before that hurtful moment what kind of person you want to be).

Today I learned that being kind and courteous may lead to more trouble than there was originally but i have decided to do so anyway.

Today I found my most accurate definition of Faith, having full assurance in the heart that everything will work out as it’s supposed to in its own time, I have faith everything’s going to work out the way it’s supposed to.
