Truly Magical

The little things are the big things  – that’s what I keep realizing

This morning as babies laughed, giggled and pushed my wheelchair around I couldn’t help but be grateful to be me, to be there to bear witness to pure joy (I pray my ears and eyes never forget the sounds and sights of today…. truly magical)

Day 3211: Offer People Peace

“Our duty as Christians is to offer peace to everyone we meet what they do with that peace is none of our business.” – Fr. Stanly James

It’s 8 :10 PM on day 3211 since I started blogging and I managed to pray, read Bible, go to church and work on my 28 For 28 Campaign benefiting charity:water  –  we’ve now raised $3 776 of $28 000 with 85 days to go

Today the topic of offering people peace was discussed in church during which Fr. James said our duty as Christians is to offer peace to everyone we meet what they do with that peace is none of our business I found that be such an important point because so often we hold back from giving so much because we worry how what we offer will be received but we needn’t be because as the Friar said how people respond to our offer of peace is none of our business our duty is to merely offer it.

Day 3210: Can you imagine your life without water, asks Tanmay Bakshi (@TajyMany )

“Water is fundamental to all life – from elephants and giraffes, to humans and microbes, we all need water; and it’s one of the first things we look for when we are searching for extraterrestrial life.” – Tanmay Bakshi

It’s 4: 36 PM on day 3210 since I started blogging and I managed to pray, read Bible, spend time outside and work on my 28 For 28 Campaign benefiting charity:water  –  two people donated  $560 we’ve now raised $3 776 of $28 000 with 86 days to go

Today I woke up to find the video Tanmay Bakshi had made in support of my campaign I was so impressed and moved (thank you Tanmay for your amazing support – you are an example of all that’s right with our world)

Wearing Labels Well

We can’t choose the labels people give us but we can choose to wear them well– that’s what I’ve realized

Today I was reminded that we can’t choose the labels people give us but we can choose to wear them well – I  can’t change that I’m differently-abled but I can be the best representative of differently-abled people everywhere

When time doesn’t fly

You don’t know what you’ve got till it’s gone– that’s what I’ve realized

Today I miss my mommy so so so much nobody takes care of me like she does the sisi is a no-show I’m lost I hate being so dependent on people for my very survival but i’m determined to be fine

Day 3203: Everything ALWAYS Works Out

Everything always works– that’s what I’ve realized

It’s 5: 15 PM on day 3203 since I started blogging and I managed to pray, read Bible, spend time outside and work on my 28 For 28 Campaign benefiting charity:water  –  Anon donated $28 we’ve now raised $3 216 of $28 000 with 93 days to go

Today I was reminded that everything always works out even if it does so in a roundabout way and in its own time.
