Listen to your elders – that’s what I learned yesterday.

It’s 12  : 30  PM on day 1418 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to  pray, read Psalm 105, feed myself  a  peanut butter  sandwich and an orange for breakfast, prepare for my upcoming campaign, practice sitting up straight to strengthen my core muscles and stretch my hamstrings.

Yesterday my mother had to beg and plead with me to take cold medication (I hate putting any sort of chemical preparation into my body because I don’t know how my body will react to it) eventually I took the medication and to my surprise I felt much better within hours just goes to show sometimes mother does know best. Do you only listen to your elders when you’ve run out of options?
