It’s 12 : 00 PM on day 1731 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to brush my teeth, pray, read Jonah 3, publish my Disability of the Day feature, learn one new thing –Looking like a cross between a guinea pig and a hippopotamus, the capybara can weigh a whopping 100 pounds (45 kilograms). Native to Central and South America, the rodents are semi-aquatic and can remain underwater for as long as five minutes.–feed myself French toast with banana for breakfast and promote my Educate Generations campaign– $3 045 raised so far so grateful (thanks guys).
Yesterday I was deeply saddened to hear about the death of Jenna Lowe (Jenna had a rare degenerative disease called Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension after a potentially life-saving double lung transplant she spent many months in the hospital before she passed away on Monday the 8th of June) I interacted with Jenna a few times via Twitter she seemed to be such a sweet soul what I loved most about her was her determination to use her life to help others (she started the Get Me to 21 Campaign encouraging South Africans to become organ donors). Rest in peace Jenna your legacy will endure forever.
