I will never be able to do things as easily as everybody else does and that’s okay – that’s what I learned today 🙂

It’s 2 : 03 PM on day 896 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to pray,  stretch my hamstrings, take off my dirty t-shirt and put a clean t-shirt on,  brush my teeth, practice sitting up straight to strengthen my core muscles, feed myself bread and beans for breakfast, drink juice by myself,   read Exodus 16, publish my Disability of the Day feature, practice typing with both hands and work.

Today I found myself wishing I could do things as easily as everybody else does but that isn’t my life and that’s okay. Have you accepted the things in your life that you cannot change?
