“Prevention is better than cure” – Dutch Proverb.
It’s 5: 50 PM on day 63 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to brush my teeth, feed myself Oats for breakfast, learn Limits – I finally figured it out all it is, is value does y approach as x approaches a finite number or infinity – I am SO happy that I finally get it 🙂 – feed myself rice and curry for lunch and drink water from a glass –as I was drinking the water I realized that it’s the small things that make go around 🙂 – and exercise for 30 minutes – I so need a vacation from my life but it doesn’t work like that, does it? 🙂
Yesterday was World Diabetes Day – type 2 diabetes is caused by the body’s resistance to insulin and these are some of the commonest symptoms of the disease: unusual thirst, excessive urination, blurred vision and cuts/bruises that are slow to heal – it is estimated that two-hundred million people worldwide suffer from diabetes and that a further two-hundred million are waking around undiagnosed and the reason I am so passionate about this is because I am genetically predisposed to having diabetes – my father and two of his sister’s have it – but I determined not to follow in their footsteps by controlling my diet and excising frequently 🙂
