I am here to teach the world that we are all more than we what we appear to be– that’s what I learned today 🙂

It’s 5 : 23 PM on day 706 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to brush my teeth, go to church with mom – the sermon was titled Reducing worry and was about how we shouldn’t worry about whether we’ll have enough to survive because God would provide (I really got that because a few years ago I had a bad attitude, no money and no idea what I wanted to do with my life but through helping others opportunities to do different things came to me) – publish my Disability of the Day feature,  publish my Kid of the Week feature, feed myself scrambled eggs  and bread for breakfast, drink coffee by myself,    work and listen to music – We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together by Taylor Swift is stuck in my head (listen to it at the bottom of this post).

This morning our tenant came to talk to my parents about something and just before she was about to leave she asked what do you always do on the computer  to which I replied I am a social media manager – I tweet and Facebook  for companies who don’t have time to manage their social media accounts then my dad chimed in she raised … $7 000  to build a well in Kenya I said finishing his sentence because I didn’t want him to unintentionally say something that wasn’t true the look on our tenant’s face was priceless her pupils dilated and she said I didn’t know you were doing so much it was like she was seeing me and not the limitations of my body for the first time I suppose that’s what I am here to teach the world – that we are all more than we appear to be.
