It’s day 471 of my journey towards independence and day 21 of vacation we had breakfast at Jungle – it was a buffet and it was complementary need I say more LOL in all seriousness the coffee there is the best I’ve ever had 🙂 – went to the Mysore Zoo (see pictures below) – truth-be-told I had already seen all but two of all the animals in that zoo – the Indian elephant and the grey wolf – in south africa – both in the zoo and in the wild – I only went because I believed my cousins deserved to have some fun – the eldest is 20 and the youngest is 15 my uncle Bobby has Parkinson’s disease and these kids never whine or complain about the circumstances of their lives they suck it up and do what needs to done – from stretching his legs to feeding him on occasion – which inspires me – went to the Brindavan Gardens (see pictures below) – a garden with lots of fountains and an equal amount of stairs but again thanks to my dad I was able to see the whole garden – he carried m wheelchair up the stairs with me in it (see pictures below) apparently it’s batter at night but we couldn’t go because we had to go Bangalore – fed myself KFC chicken wings for lunch, checked into Pai Viceroy – our hotel for the night (we booked a cheaper suite so it wasn’t as big as our suite at Pai Vista but still it had all the necessities – went in search of a mall to go shopping in we eventually found one called the Forum Mall in spite of our misguided guide who pointed us to everywhere but the mall before he ditched us – we bought nothing the adults bought a few things for themselves – fed myself half a Subway sandwich and Parotta and chicken curry in the food court of the Forum Mall called Transit – if I ever move to India Bangalore is the place I would choose to stay not one adult stared at me while I was in the mall which was totally different to what happened as we were moving through the queue to get to the zoo – everybody was staring some would even pop their heads out of the queue to get a second look.
