To be unique is a blessing– that’s what I keep realizing.
It’s 12 : 20 PM on day 1813 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to pray, read Luke 3, publish my Disability of the Day feature, learn one new thing –Juxtapose [jux·ta·pose] tr.v. 1. To place side by side, especially for comparison or contrast. “The exhibition juxtaposes Picasso’s early drawings with some of his later works.”– have breakfast and promote my Educate Generations campaign – yesterday Beverly Bernhardt donated $44 and Caryn Gootkin donated $10 (thanks so much Beverley and Caryn the ongoing support from both of you means so much 🙂 ) which brings my total raised to $4 710 (surpassed August goal of raising $4 703 with hours to spare I knew the man upstairs would show up for me somehow (thanks God)).
This morning I was racking my brain trying to think of someone in my community who was even the least bit like me and I kid you not nobody came to mind (nobody in my community looks like me, talks like me or does the things I try to do) during my teens I ached to be like everybody else but now there’s something about being one-of-a-kind that I absolutely LOVE.
