A new week brings new opportunities be hopeful and kind – that’s my message to the world.
It’s 1 : 36 PM on day 2913 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, read a Bible verse and do some work
Last Tuesday I set some goals and today I will again be evaluating myself to measure my progress and I’ll be setting some goals for the coming week as well. Take a look:
August 28- September 3rd Goals Review
- Continue to be kind, honest and generous (give more, do more and be more) [tried]
- Be the best Supersidekick to my Superhero Catherine Constantinides [tried]
- Spend time outside as often as I can [tried]
- Finish reading one book (currently reading Flow: The Psychology of Optimal Experience
- by Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi)
- Learn 7+ new things [not done]
- Write done 7 beautiful moments of the week [not done often]
- Try new things [not done often]
- Use social media to showcase the ability of differently-abled people and teach that Different IS COOL! [tried my best]
Highlights of the Week
- Seeing my friend again
- Superhero Catherine Constantinides naming a fruit tree after me – on August 31st Superhero Catherine Constantinides and her team at Miss Earth South Africa with partners Montecasino, Tsogo Sun and Servest South Africa planted 20 fruit trees at Witkoppen Primary School and one of the trees is named after ME (SO SWEET and very cool)
