Focus on love– that’s Jodene Shaer’s message to the world.
It’s 1 : 34 PM on day 2675 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, read Isaiah 42:9 and promote my 50 New Feet Campaign benefiting MiracleFeet – raised $6 816 only $5 684 more to raise by June 17, 2018 to help 50 kids with clubfoot .
Yesterday in a vlog entitled “I Don’t Know Much” Jodene Shaer suggested that instead of making New Year’s Resolutions and To-Do Lists we should make a list of what we love and although I’ll continue to keep my 2018 Goals list I have also decided to list of things I love as per Jodene’s suggestion. Take a look:
Everything and Everybody I Love 2018
- I love God
- I love myself
- I love every member of my family
- I love my friends
- I love Gerda
- I love my Superhero Catherine Constantinides (my Superhero is so special her kindness, thoughtfulness and humility continues to warm my heart and it’s something I aspire to every day)
- I love my favourite women in green glasses Ella Bella (she’s so herself all the time it makes my heart smile)
- I love giving, serving and being kind – I LOVE making a difference and being the difference (nobody has truly lived until they’ve seen wonderment in a child’s eyes I would give every last cent I had and even the shirt off my back to see that look again)
- I love MiracleFeet and the work they do (with $250 and no surgery they change the trajectory of a clubfoot-affected child’s life it’s really extraordinary)
- I love being outside and looking trees, flowers, birds and the clouds
- I love writing
- I love reading
- I love listening to music
- I love learning new things
- I love meeting new people
- I love being healthy
- I love counting my blessings
- I love doing things I’m afraid of
- I love doing things people say I can’t do
