The difference between success and failure is persistence – that’s what I’ve been reminded of.
It’s 2 : 12 PM on day 2641 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, read Matthew 25:40, and promote my 50 New Feet Campaign benefiting MiracleFeet –-raised $4 976 only $7 524 more to raise by June 17, 2018 to help 50 kids with clubfoot (thanks to everyone who has helped out so far).
Today every part of me is saying screw it why am I the only who cares I have problems too but I’m going to rage, rage against the dying of my light I refuse to go gently into the night – I’m not just another number in the population statistic God created me to be extraordinary and I am going to continue behaving accordingly (even when every part of me wants to quit).
Fortitude is basic to success in all good and admirable endeavors, but other virtues are also necessary. Prudence (Decisive Intelligence), Justice (Righteousness) and Temperance (Self-Control/Self-Discipline). Greater than these four natural virtues, however, are Love, Hope and Faith. And greatest of these supernatural virtues is Love.
