“Each friend represents a world in us, a world possibly not born until they arrive, and it is only by this meeting that a new world is born.”
– Anais Nin
It’s 5: 22 PM on day 67 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to brush my teeth, feed myself Oats for breakfast, learn Integrals – it was the easiest I’ve learned in Math 🙂 – tweeted about my Clean Water For All Campaign – raised $20 today and $120 this month 🙂 – feed myself rice and curry for lunch and exercise for 20 minutes – today was the first time I wanted to exercise and my mother didn’t – there’s a first for everything LOL 🙂
Before I got into social networking I was convinced that you could only call someone a friend if you could do things with them – watch movies, go shopping, etc – and although I still believe that nothing can replace actual human contact I can honestly say that I am a better person for having met all the people that I’ve met on the various social networks. Do you think it’s possible to be friends with someone that you’ve never seen? 🙂
Hi Nisha, it sure is possible to be friends with people you have never seen.
It’s a connection of the hearts, rather than a connection of the eyes.
You are doing so well. Btw…. You Go Girl!!! Exercising, tweeting, raising money & doing so many things independantly.
Big *hugs*, Laura 🙂
I agree 🙂 I know I am so proud of myself 🙂
Absolutely, no doubt, friendships are the meeting of two hearts, not bodies! Great!! Warmth & Joy, Leticia
I agree 🙂
