Of all the challenges we face none is greater than the ones we’ve already faced – Unknown.
It’s 4: 32 PM on day 66 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to brush my teeth, feed myself Oats for breakfast, read The Last True Cowboy by Kathleen Eagle – I am kind of bummed because I don’t think I’ll be able to finish reading because my sister has to return the book to her school library tomorrow 🙁 – learn the Squeeze Theorem – when I read the name I was so intimidated by it but the theorem is actually just based on common sense – help myself in the bathroom – I didn’t realize how bad I felt about someone needing to help me in the bathroom until I was able to do by myself – feed myself rice and curry for lunch and exercise for 10 minutes – I had to cut my exercise short because I wasn’t feeling too well but I did I exercised for as long as I could because I knew that it was better for me in the long run.
It been 66 days since I started his journey and I have already learned:
- To brush my teeth
- To sign my name on a document (I still type more than I write by hand but I am happy about the fact that I can sign my name if I need to )
- To type with both hands (I hope to get more proficient at it but whenever I type I automatic use my left-hand – just the way I am conditioned I guess )
- To eat and drink by myself
