This morning my mother heard me praying in the bathroom and said light-heartedly don’t pray in the toilet to which I yelled back also light-heartedly God is everywhere and continued praying I truly believe God is in every person, place and thing.
My life is a miracle – that’s what I keep realizing.

Recently I realized what a miracle my life truly is I fall off the toilet yet I’ve jumped off a cliff, I struggle to get my words out yet I speak three languages, I can’t write (by hand) and yet I write every day, I need so much help yet I try to help people and planet every day… simply miraculous if my life is not proof that there is a God in Heaven then I don’t know what is.
Be focused but don’t put all your eggs into one basket – that’s my message to the world.

Yesterday I was reminded of the importance of doing different things every day to make the world a better place so that even when I feel like one project is stuck all is not lost I guess my dad is right one shouldn’t put all one’s eggs into a single basket which is not to say one shouldn’t be focused on achieving specific goals it just means one can have more than a single goal and a single passion.
Big risk often equals big reward – that’s my message to the world.

Yesterday I was reminded that big risk often equals big reward I believe we as people would reach new heights of achievement if we weren’t so scared of failure and rejection because to truly fly in life you’ve got to be willing to possibly flop.

On this day three years ago my ammachi (grandmother) passed away and took a piece of my heart with her I’m glad she’s no longer suffering but I wish every day that she could have seen me in the newspaper, on the radio, on the zipline, on the paraglider and even on national TV she was so determined that I learn to walk I wish she could see that I am more than okay even though God didn’t grant her request. I miss you every day ammachi but I’m okay and forever will be okay thank you so much for all your prayers they were answered just not in the way you hoped.
God is in every moment and in every human you just need to pay close attention– that’s my message to the world.

Today I heard that Chester Bennington, lead singer of Linkin Park, tragically committed suicide I was asked once whether I’ve ever thought about committing suicide and I can honestly say the thought has never, not once, crossed my mind I mean sure my life is challenging and at times frustrating but it’s also filled with faith, joy, laughter and love I hold on to those things in my darkest moments.
