Day 2911: Happy Spring Day

“It is spring again. The earth is like a child that knows poems by heart.” – Rainer Maria Rilke

It’s 3 : 04 PM on day 2911 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, read a Bible verse and do some work

Today is Spring Day which is one of my favourite days because it’s a time to start afresh to leg go of what doesn’t work and walk (or roll ) into new things. Happy Spring Day

Day 2910: Become What You Want From The World

Before you can get what you want from the world you have to become what you want from the world– that’s what I’ve realized

It’s 1 : 58 PM on day 2910 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, read a Bible verse and do some work.

Recently I realized that before you can get what you want from the world you have to become what you want from the world we want peace yet we cause turmoil, we want love though we hate, we want good friend though we are bad friends… life doesn’t work like that we have to become what we want out of life and what we want will be magnetized to us.

Day 2909: Act on the Love You Feel

Love felt should be acted upon – that’s my message to the world

It’s 1 : 30 PM on day 2909 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, read a Bible verse, spend time outside and do some work

Recently I realized that love felt but not acted upon is an empty kind of love people can’t see your love unless you show your love so please no matter how many things you have to do every day take a few moments to show people you love that you actually love them. Act on the love inside your heart it may just make the world a more beautiful place.

Day 2908: Promises and Me

Some of the most important promises you’ll ever keep are the ones you make to yourself – that’s what I’ve realized

It’s 2 : 18 PM on day 2908 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, read a Bible verse, spend time outside and do some work

A few months ago on the morning of my surgery I promised myself that if I woke  up one more day I wouldn’t waste a single sunny day spending all day indoors and so today, like many other days since, I spent hours watching birds fly and listening to them sing it was truly magical (may I always make time to enjoy the little-big things))

Day 2907: August 28-September 3rd Goals

Fill your days and weeks with kindness– that’s what I’ve realized

It’s 2 : 06 PM on day 2907 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, read a Bible verse and spend time outside – it’s such a beautiful day outside and besides August 28, 2018 will never happen again in the history of humanity might as well cherish it

Today I’m doing my weekly review since I didn’t do it yesterday. Take a look:

  • Seeing the global tree planting I had planned in honour of Superhero Catherine Constantinides’s birthday come to life – witnessing everybody’s participation in something that was once just a thought in my head was just incredible (made so much sweeter by the fact that all this was done in honour of my Superhero whom I love so very much)

Day 2904: Give a Voice to your Love

Life is fragile appreciate the people you love– that’s my message to the world

It’s 2: 27 PM on day 2904 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, read a Bible verse and do some work

This week I was reminded of the fragility of life I tend to hold all my love inside until something unexpected happens then all my love comes out like vomit I need to learn not to wait for something bad to happen before I express my feelings.

Day 2903: Change and Trust

Change is constant – that’s what I keep realizing

It’s 12 : 35 PM on day 2903 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, read a Bible verse, spend time outside and do some work.

Two days ago we had to get a temporary helper while our permanent helper was on sick leave the first day I was so nervous she wouldn’t be able to help me that I literally didn’t drink any water till my parents got back from work but the second mom told me she would only be back at 4 or 5 and since I didn’t want a UTI I decided to drink water like normal and trust that the temp could help me without injuring me and to my shock she helped me and  I didn’t get injured in the process I guess I need to work on trusting people more. In case you’re wondering our permanent helper is now back (yay).

Day 2902: 6 Months Ago Yesterday

Life is a gift not a right– that’s my message to the world.

It’s 1 : 29 PM on day 2902 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, read a Bible verse and do some work

Six months ago yesterday I was in hospital getting my contractures released and although everybody told me it’s a simple surgery that was  a changing day in my life because that morning I realized how much I wanted to live, how much I wanted to do and how much more I wanted to become the theme of that day and my life since has become I’m not done yet .

Day 2901: Graciousness

The best response to disappointment is graciousness – that’s what I’ve realized.

It’s 11 : 23 AM on day 2901 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, read a Bible verse and do some work.

Recently I’ve learned that when disappointed instead of sulking it’s best to be gracious it makes people want to do better for you in the present and in the future.

Day 2899: August 20-27 Goals

Some weeks just fill your soul – that’s what I’ve realized

It’s 12 : 19 PM on day 2899 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, read a Bible verse and do some work
