Day 1992: Giving up Impatience for Lent

“Lent comes providentially to reawaken us, to shake us from our lethargy.” – Pope Francis

It’s 12 : 47 PM on day 1992 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, read Hebrews 3,  learn one new thing –With an area of 12 million square kilometers (5 million square miles), the Arctic Ocean is the smallest ocean – more than five times smaller than the Indian and Atlantic oceans. –have breakfast and work on my 25 Smiles Campaign – Kevin (not my brother Kevin)  donated $15 on behalf of Lesley for her birthday (thanks Kevin and happy birthday Lesley which brings the total raised to  $3 012 only $3 238 more to raise by 10 Jan 2017  (SO SO SO GRATEFUL to everyone who has supported this campaign so far :)  ).

Recently after reading A World Filled With Happiness – a blog post by Gaynor Young – I decided that instead of giving up certain foods for Lent (which my doctor has forbidden me from doing) I would give up impatience admittedly I still have my moments of impatience but whenever I am able to observe myself being impatient I remind myself that I’ve given up impatience for Lent surprisingly it really does help.

Day 1991: “Collide” by Howie Day

Even the best fall down sometimes

Even the wrong words seem to rhyme

Out of the doubt that fills your mind

I somehow find

You and I collide

It’s 12 : 10 PM on day 1991 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, read Hebrews 2,  learn one new thing –The Indian gray mongoose and others are well known for their ability to fight and kill venomous snakes, particularly cobras. They are adept at such tasks due to their agility, thick coats, and acetylcholine receptors, which render them resistant or immune to snake venom.–have breakfast and work on my 25 Smiles Campaign – raised  $2 997 only $3 253 more to raise by 10 Jan 2017  (SO SO SO GRATEFUL to everyone who has supported this campaign so far :)  ).

The older I get the more I realize all will be well in the end and if it’s not it’s not the end everything happens for the evolution of our consciousness.

Day 1988: Brownies & downieS South Africa

If you could travel at the speed of light, you could go around the Earth 7.5 times in one second.-have breakfast and work on my 25 Smiles Campaign –  raised $2 972 only $3 278 more to raise by 10 Jan 2017  (SO SO SO GRATEFUL to everyone who has supported this campaign so far :)  ).

Yesterday on Introducing Up & Coming Current.. – a vlog by Dennis Ngango – I heard about Brownies & downieS – a coffee shop and lunchroom in Cape Town that primarily serves as training centre for the intellectually disabled – I love that Brownies & downieS is trying to give people who have intellectual disabilities independence and purpose. Residents of Cape Town: Please visit Brownies & downieS and buy a brownie on my behalf (I haven’t had a brownie in ages my mouth is watering just thinking about it).

(Note: Brownies & downieS did not pay me to write this post I did it because I believe business that care deserve support.)

Both temperature and wind cause heat loss from body surfaces. -have breakfast and work on my 25 Smiles Campaign –  raised $2 972 only $3 278 more to raise by 10 Jan 2017  (SO SO SO GRATEFUL to everyone who has supported this campaign so far :)  ).

Day 1984: Taylor Swift’s speech at the 2016 Grammy Awards

“As the first woman to win Album of the Year at the Grammys twice, I want to say to all the young women out there, there are going to be people along the way who will try to undercut your success or take credit for your accomplishments or your fame, but, if you just focus on the work and you don’t let those people sidetrack you, someday when you get where you’re going you’ll look around and you will know that it was you and the people who love you who put you there. And that will be the greatest feeling in the world. Thank you for this moment.” – Taylor Swift

Recently I realized loving someone with everything you have and expecting nothing in return is true love.

Day 1982: Christianity Simplified

People make Christianity more complicated than it has to be all you need to do is believe, do the right thing and treat others well – that’s what I’ve realized.
