Day 2184: RUDI SMIT | ME TOO

“Dance is for everybody. I believe that the dance came from the people and that it should always be delivered back to the people.” – Alvin Ailey

It’s 12 : 05  PM on day 2184 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, have breakfast, read Revelation 7:17   and work on my  25 Smiles Campaign    –    raised $7 600 only  $4 900 more to raise to reach my second goal of raising $12 500 for Smile Train before Jan 10 2017 (SO SO SO GRATEFUL to everyone who has supported this campaign so far ) .

Today I watched a South Africa dance video that’s going viral for all the right reasons it totally made my heart smile. Watch “RUDI SMIT | ME TOO” below:

Day 2183: Keep Your Values

Just decide that you’re going to keep your values at all cost – that’s my message to the world.

It’s 12 : 00  PM on day 2183 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, read Matthew 6:26-27, have breakfast,  learn one new thing – Power lines are thin and may be difficult to see by even low-flying aircraft, and we don’t want airplanes colliding with them. The big marker balls are there to warn airplanes of the power lines.-   and work on my  25 Smiles Campaign    –    raised $7 600 only  $4 900 more to raise to reach my second goal of raising $12 500 for Smile Train before Jan 10 2017 (SO SO SO GRATEFUL to everyone who has supported this campaign so far ) .

Today I realized that the most decision I have ever made is the decision to keep my values at all cost sometimes it’s not easy but I refuse to sell out (please God help me not to).

Day 2182: Katlego Maboe | The Visionary Hub with Dennis Ngango

The future of South Africa is bright – that’s what I keep realizing.

It’s 12 : 03  PM on day 2182 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, read Psalm 128: 1-2, have breakfast and work on my  25 Smiles Campaign    –    raised $7 600 only  $4 900 more to raise to reach my second goal of raising $12 500 for Smile Train before Jan 10 2017 (SO SO SO GRATEFUL to everyone who has supported this campaign so far ) .

Recently I watched Dennis Ngango‘s interview with South African TV Personality Katlego Maboe I was so impressed by the interview that I just had to share it. Watch “Katlego Maboe | The Visionary Hub with Dennis Ngango” below:

Day 2181: 3 Things Every Person Must Know

Know who you are, who you represent and know your purpose in life– that’s my message to the world.

It’s 12 : 27  PM on day 2181 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, read, have breakfast,  learn one new thing – The area encircling the Pacific Ocean is called the “Ring of Fire,” because its edges mark a circle of high volcanic and seismic activity (earthquakes). Most of the active volcanoes on Earth are located on this circumference.-   and work on my  25 Smiles Campaign    –    raised $7 600 only  $4 900 more to raise to reach my second goal of raising $12 500 for Smile Train before Jan 10 2017 (SO SO SO GRATEFUL to everyone who has supported this campaign so far ) .

Today I realized that those who get anything done in this life know who they are, who they represent and know their purpose in life it really does make all the difference.

Day 2180: The Way to Live (According to me)

Live the way you want to be remembered– that’s my message to the world.

It’s 12 : 08  PM on day 2180 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, have breakfast,  read Genesis 50: 20, learn one new thing – The Indian Ocean’s average depth is 12,990 feet (3,960 metres), and its deepest point, in the Sunda Deep of the Java Trench off the southern coast of Java, is 24,442 feet (7,450 metres).-   and work on my  25 Smiles Campaign    –    raised $7 600 only  $4 900 more to raise to reach my second goal of raising $12 500 for Smile Train before Jan 10 2017 (SO SO SO GRATEFUL to everyone who has supported this campaign so far ) .

Today I realized that the best way to live is to live the way we want to be remembered that way in the end we won’t have any regrets.

Day 2179: Appreciate Life

Life is short appreciate every moment– that’s my message to the world.

It’s 12 : 00  PM on day 2179 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, read 2 Chronicles 15:7, listen to Catherine Constantinides on DJ Sbu Breakfast – she was talking about her adventures in the U.S. and other stuff –  have breakfast, learn one new thing –A male lobster is called a cock and a female a hen or chicken (when it weighs about one pound). A one-clawed lobster is called a cull. If it has no claws, it’s called a pistol.-   and work on my  25 Smiles Campaign    –    raised $7 600 only  $4 900 more to raise to reach my second goal of raising $12 500 for Smile Train before Jan 10 2017 (SO SO SO GRATEFUL to everyone who has supported this campaign so far ) .

Last night someone very dear to me passed away it’s been shocking and heartbreaking but I know that the pain I feel pales in comparison to what his family must be feeling he was such an amazing man so full of laughter and life and he could talk to just about anyone I will miss visiting him and just knowing he’s around.

Day 2178: Keep Your Peace

“Do not let the behaviour of others destroy your inner peace.”― Dalai Lama XIV

It’s 12 : 25  PM on day 2178 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, read Genesis 12:2-3  , have breakfast, learn one new thing –The first pay phone was invented in 1889 and by 1902, there were over 81,000 pay telephones in the United States. In 1889, the first public coin telephone was installed by inventor William Gray at a bank in Hartford, Conn.-   and work on my  25 Smiles Campaign    –    raised $7 600 only  $4 900 more to raise to reach my second goal of raising $12 500 for Smile Train before Jan 10 2017 (SO SO SO GRATEFUL to everyone who has supported this campaign so far ) .

Today I realized that oftentimes in life people don’t just destroy peace we – the people whose peace is being destroyed – give them – our peace-destoyers – the power to do it which is good news because the moment each of us decides to keep our peace forevermore nobody in the world can take it away from us ever again.

Day 2177: Sentimental Me

I’m really sentimental – that’s what I realized yesterday.

It’s 12 : 32  PM on day 2177 of my journey towards independence and I managed to have breakfast, pray, read job 38:4-7, learn one new thing – The skeletons of most mammals reach a certain size and then stop growing. However, many animals, including some mammals, keep growing throughout their lives. Kangaroos, for example, just keep growing and growing until they die. Most fish, amphibians, lizards, and snakes are also indeterminate growers.-   and work on my  25 Smiles Campaign    – A family who I  think would prefer to remain anonymous donated $100 (thanks SO MUCH guys )  which brings the total  raised to $7 600 only  $4 900 more to raise to reach my second goal of raising $12 500 for Smile Train before Jan 10 2017 (SO SO SO GRATEFUL to everyone who has supported this campaign so far ) .

Yesterday I realized I’m really sentimental it doesn’t matter to me what people give me if they put thought and effort into it I love it because I know their intention was to make me feel special and loved.

Day 2176: Coincidence and God

Coincidence is God’s way of staying anonymous – that’s what I keep realizing.

It’s 12 : 00  PM on day 2176 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, read Psalm 46: 10 , have breakfast, learn one new thing –air is not a mixture because of scientists freezing it and finding different liquids, it is a mixture because the compounds that make up air e.g. oxygen (o2), Carbon dioxide (co2) and the most important Nitrogen which is an element and makes up 78.09% of air are not chemically bound in the way that compounds are …-   and work on my  25 Smiles Campaign    –    raised $7 500 only  $5 000 more to raise to reach my second goal of raising $12 500 for Smile Train before Jan 10 2017 (SO SO SO GRATEFUL to everyone who has supported this campaign so far ) .

This morning I was feeling anxious about a few things until I read Psalm 46: 10 (Be still and know that I am God) I mean what are the chances that mom would pick out exactly that verse from the box of Bible verses my sister gave me –  coincidence is God’s way of staying anonymous.

Day 2175: Say I Love You

Say the words I love you more often it won’t kill you – that’s my message to the world.

It’s 12 : 03  PM on day 2175 of my journey towards independence and I managed to   pray, have breakfast, read Revelation 1:7, learn one new thing –Although kopi luwak is a form of processing rather than a variety of coffee, it has been called the most expensive coffee in the world with retail prices reaching €550 / US$700 per kilogram.-   and work on my  25 Smiles Campaign    – yesterday Meg donated $25   (thanks SO MUCH  Meg your ongoing support means a lot 🙂  )  which brings the total  raised to $7 500 only  $5 000 more to raise to reach my second goal of raising $12 500 for Smile Train before Jan 10 2017 (SO SO SO GRATEFUL to everyone who has supported this campaign so far 🙂 ) .

Recently I’ve started forcing myself to say the words I love you more often it’s uncomfortable because I am not the mushy sort but since people can’t read my heart I’ll keep saying it hopefully with time it will feel less uncomfortable.
