Today I was listening to this song titled “Angel” and suddenly all these memories of my paternal grandmother came rushing back I know she lived a full life I’m just sad she isn’t here (physically) to see all that I have done and have become and all that I will do and will become.

Yesterday I heard “Ten Feet Tall” by Afrojack and it struck a chord with me because I have many people in my life who make me feel ten feet tall. This song is dedicated to the giants on whose shoulders I stand every day (thank you guys without God, my parents and you guys I wouldn’t be me). Listen to “Ten Feet Tall” by Afrojack below:

A while ago I watched an animated short film called The Present I don’t usually like this type of thing but this story was so touching I fell in love with it. Watch The Present below:

Day 2246: My Ziplining Experience at Tsitsikamma Canopy Tour

Chase beautiful memories– that’s my message to the world.

Yesterday my dad and I went ziplining at Tsitsikamma Canopy Tour for Smile Train it was so much fun we did about 10 slides each more picturesque than the last and we learned so much about the trees and animals in that forest. Thanks so much to Tsitsikamma Canopy Tour for this amazing experience and thanks in particular to Emo, Marius and Ashley (my guides) for taking such great care of me and (also thanks to my cousin Vineeth who came with us and agreed to drive the whole way from our hometown to Tsitsikamma and back in the same day (10 hours in total on the road (I have the world’s BEST cousin)) and to my mother and nephew who came along for the ride and to Jacqui, Gaynor, Steph and B who spent hours on the road just so they could meet me in real-life (thanks guys I’m so honoured to have met you  all in person).

Day 2244: One Day to Tsitsikamma Canopy Tour

Limits are often mindmade    – that’s my message to the world.

It’s 1 : 13  PM on day 2244 of my journey towards independence and I managed to have breakfast, go to the doctor (nothing serious just a check up of sorts),  pray,   read John 16:33 and work on my  25 Smiles Campaign    –raised $8 711.04 only  $3 788.96 more to raise to reach my second goal of raising $12 500 for Smile Train before Jan 10 2017 (SO SO SO GRATEFUL to everyone who has supported this campaign so far ).

Tomorrow at almost this time if all goes well I will be ziplining at  Tsitsikamma Canopy Tour for Smile Train and for everyone who has ever been told they can’t do something and will never amount to anything.

Day 2243: Share

Share your joy, your pain and your struggle it might make someone feel less alone – that’s my message to the world.

It’s 10 : 23  AM on day 2243 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, have breakfast,  read Romans 15:13 and work on my  25 Smiles Campaign    –raised $8 711.04 only  $3 788.96 more to raise to reach my second goal of raising $12 500 for Smile Train before Jan 10 2017 (SO SO SO GRATEFUL to everyone who has supported this campaign so far ).

Yesterday I was reminded that as uncomfortable as it might make people to see life though my eyes (and as uncomfortable as it for me to share it) it’s necessary for me to share it because they are lots of people just like me everywhere who have to claw and fight to get through life I am real and raw every day mostly for their benefit because I never want people to feel like they’re alone in their struggle it’s an awful feeling that I know too well (you have to be the person you wish you had that way your struggles have a purpose) .
